Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines acceptable and prohibited uses of Otherlay's dedicated Mac infrastructure. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in account suspension or termination as described in our Terms of Service.

3. Security Responsibilities

We reserve the right to scan for vulnerable software versions on managed Macs to protect the shared infrastructure. We will notify you before taking any remediation action.

4. Content Monitoring

We do not proactively monitor customer content stored on or transmitted through allocated Macs. We may investigate reported violations or respond to legal process. Our investigation is limited to the minimum access necessary to verify the reported violation.

5. Enforcement

Violations are handled as follows:

We maintain records of AUP enforcement actions. You may appeal enforcement decisions to abuse@otherlay.eu within 14 days.

6. Reporting Abuse

To report a violation of this AUP, contact abuse@otherlay.eu. Include: the nature of the violation, relevant timestamps, IP addresses or hostnames, and any supporting evidence. We treat all reports confidentially and respond within 24 hours on business days.

7. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes are posted on this page and communicated in the Console. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
